Letter from the Head of School

Dear Mill Springs Academy Community,

I write to you today with a heavy heart. Our country is reeling from the impacts of the deaths of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many others. As hard as I try, I can’t understand what has happened to these beautiful lives. I can’t understand why we continue to see the same injustices repeated over and over again. What I do understand is that the pain, hurt, and frustration our country is experiencing is real. The continued disproportionate number of Black lives lost is hurtful to all.
