Fine Arts Societies

Mill Springs Academy is a proud member of the following three Fine Arts Societies.

The National Arts Honor Society (NAHS) is an organization of student artists that meet to collaborate, work on their own art portfolios and participate in group activities that enhance their art education. Members are nominated by their art teachers, maintain an A average in all their art classes, and have proven themselves to be a responsible leaders in the school.

 Mill Springs Academy is proud to have an active chapter of the International Thespian Society (ITS). Its thespian troupe serves students in grades 9-12 as an honor society for theater students (and advised by theater teachers). Students in the ITS chapter have earned the right to be part of the organization by earning enough points through the quality and quantity of their work in all realms of theatre.

 Tri-M is a program of the National Association for Music Education. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements and to provide leadership and service opportunities to young musicians. To be eligible for membership a student must maintain an A average in their music classes, a C average in all of their academic courses, be enrolled in a music class at MSA, and apply for an earn recommendation from an MSA music teacher.
