The Wonder of this Season
This week began with reviews for the exams to come. There was a board meeting, the band had a party, we dedicated the Lower/Middle building as the Robert W. Moore Hall, we did some learning (you can read about that below), our rising 9th graders visited with the Upper School, and the 7-12 graders began their exams today. Tomorrow we have a wonderful event planned for our Alumni, and there is a swim meet. There was a fabulous luncheon for the faculty and staff that was sponsored by our Parent Volunteer Association, very yummy and very much appreciated. We have also had a full moon and it's Friday the 13th!
It's so easy to get bogged down in all the things we need to get done before the holiday's arrive. If you get too busy you will miss out on all the wonder of this season. This weekend take the kids on a drive through a couple neighborhoods in the evening. Slowly drive by the homes with the lights and decorations to savor the moment and the beauty. It's the simple things in life.
Have a terrific weekend, it may be cool, but it won't be rainy!
