Theater

Mill Springs Academy theater students learn the basics of theater and build acting skills and vocal musicianship skills to perform contemporary and classic comedies, dramas, and musicals.
Throughout their theater courses, students are introduced to the principles and techniques of creating believable characters through action, improvisation, analysis, movement, vocal control, basic music theory, proper vocal technique, audition workshop, scene study and interpretation. Upper School students are also able to participate in Technical Theater where they learn what to expect behind the scenes of our dynamic performances, including lights, sound, set design, set construction, stage make-up, and costuming.
