Chorus

Our chorus explores many genres of music and many different venues for performing. Students are able to join chorus beginning in 9th grade.

Students learn proper posture, breathing technique, singing techniques, and care for their voice. They also explore the many different ways singing can be used to help achieve community.  Students are involved the music selection process and sing classic, musical theater, and popular pieces in small and large groups. Throughout the year, the chorus performs regularly at a local assisted living home, for special events at school, and with the band in the Winter concert.
