Arts Alliance

Dear Friends of MSA Fine Arts

We are excited to work with the widely creative MSA students in so many ways – art, drama, music, band, theater, technical theater, ceramics, improvisation and more! Please check out www.MSAarts.org to see ALL that our program has to offer.

MSA Fine Arts students will help make the following 2019-2020 events AWESOME: the Communication Arts Festival, GISA One-Act Play competitions, MTI Junior Theater Festival, GISA All-Select events, GISA Literary Festival, Studio Arts Gallery, Spring Musical, Barnes and Noble Book Fair art gallery and others.

Again this year, Fine Arts has three Honors Societies (listed below) that we are so proud to offer our passionate artists, musicians and thespians! We have a total involvement of thirty students and we continue to grow each year.

  • The National Art Honors Society
  • Tri-M Music Society, and
  • International Thespian Society

Fine Arts Parents of the Year

We wanted to recognize parents Amy Parsons and Jill Coco for being the Fine Arts Parents of the Year. Their consistent dedication to our program has been overwhelming. We are so thankful for all of the amazing parents who help support MSA Fine Arts!

Mark your calendars for the August 20th Performing Arts Meeting at 7:00 pm in the Stallings Theater in the SAC for parents and ANY PreUpper, Communication Arts and Upper students that are interested in participating in Drama/Chorus/Technical Theater this coming school year. We will discuss opportunities, auditions, and schedules. Yes, it is during the second week of school, but we have One-Act Play auditions the following week so we have lots of information to share right away. We hope you can join us!
