Phil Hanson, Soccer Coach & PE Instructor

Posting a 7-3-1 overall record, the MSA Mustangs concluded another successful Soccer Season with a second place finish in the AAC Regular Season and AAC Tournament. Brendan Nemesh (pictured between Coaches Phil Hanson and Michael Smith) earned the Inaugural Robert Moore Mustang Award and was voted All AAC Conference Player of the Year. “This team was a gift from God; and day in and day out, improved exponentially. From May Summer Camp to mid-October, they had an IT FACTOR to them; and reestablished our culture. Kyle Moffitt and Taylor Mallady received Coach’s Awards, Scott Owen received Most Improved Award, and Matthew Clifton was the Rookie of the Year Award recipient. Special thanks to Coach Mike Smith, the players, parents, MSA administration, our faculty and student body, and the Mustang Family for all their time, effort, and energy regarding this year. The 2020 season promises to be a Great Campaign. See you between the lines!
