Student Ambassador Program
Mill Springs Academy's Student Ambassador program is designed to provide servant leaders in our school community as well as enhance the leadership skills and emotional intelligence of the students serving. The Student Ambassador Program is open to current 9-12th grade level L, R, and C students.
WHAT IS A STUDENT AMBASSADOR:
Student Ambassadors are MSA servant leaders who contribute to the school community and advocate to support all Mill Springs Mustangs by:
- Touring prospective students
- Shadowing prospective students
- Attending all In-Person Open Houses
- Speaking at Open Houses (optional)
- Helping with school events
- Attending monthly meetings with Deans and/or Principals.
WHAT ARE STUDENT AMBASSADOR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Great communication skills
- Ability to be inclusive of students, faculty, and staff
- Capacity for discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality
- Demonstrate a record of leadership, maturity, and initiative
- Be open-minded, understanding, empathetic, and resourceful
- Willing to participate in conversations, presentations, projects, events, and tasks
- Willing to represent MSA in a positive light and take pride in being a Student Ambassador in school, at events, and in the community.
- Maintain a GPA of 2.5

- Put MSA Student Ambassador credentials on a college application and resume

WHAT ARE THE GOALS OF A STUDENT AMBASSADOR:
- Work together to help change the culture of learning in the school community
- Attend monthly meetings and school events
- Work with the Admissions and Advancement teams
- Make a positive and long-lasting impact on the MSA community
