Upper School
Mill Springs Academy's Upper School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The Upper School offers a challenging curriculum with academic rigor for college-bound students who happen to learn in different ways. Our teachers are talented and gifted in helping students with learning differences find ways to be successful. We offer instruction and assistance to help our students become self-advocates, understand what their learning disabilities may be, and discover strategies that work for each individual student. Whether it's teaching our kids the value of giving back to their community, teaching them strategies to manage their learning differences, or helping them learn self-advocacy skills, we focus on the whole child.
We are grateful that our son seems to be thriving at Mill Springs Academy. This is the first time he has ever gotten involved in sports in high school. He seems to enjoy track, although he hasn't done it before. The atmosphere seems warm, welcoming and supportive for him.
