Winter Learning Program
The Winter Learning Program (WLP) is a hands-on, experiential learning program where students take a variety of interest-generated courses. This program, which lasts two weeks in January, is a learning environment in which students attend workshops, internships, week-long seminars, and participate in "mobile classrooms" on topics such as Hiking in the north Georgia mountains, Orienteering, understanding electricity and building stage & costume props. We hold writers workshops, try new foods, and visit art galleries. These activities vary each year. Students choose a class from the course outline/schedule, then they spend the week learning about their topic.
