Communication Arts

Students Playing Instruments in a Circle

Our Communication Arts program is designed for students in grades 9-12 on the autism spectrum and those with pragmatic language difficulties (students who struggle with understanding and using language, difficulties joining in socially or working with others, and struggle to navigate body language cues). These students receive core academic instruction in a structured, supportive environment led by dedicated Communication Arts teachers. While they have a specialized home base for their core academic classes, they join their peers for electives, breaks, lunch, and extracurricular activities, ensuring enhanced, nuanced interventions and meaningful social engagement.

Our daughter was really struggling academically and socially and this last week I have picked her up each day and she has had the BIGGEST smile on her face and has talked nonstop on the way home!!! She is LOVING it at MSA and we have you and all the wonderful MSA staff to thank for such a fantastic start.
