Any student who presents with COVID-19 symptoms will be sent to the clinic immediately and required to go home. This includes a temperature check of 100 or above.
Any student or family member who tests positive for COVID-19 is required to notify the school.
Persons hospitalized for treatment of COVID 19 may return to school after 20 days from date of hospital admission, fever-free for 24 hours, with improved symptoms AND a documented physician’s clearance.
Symptomatic students with confirmed COVID-19 or suspected COVID-19 may return to school after 10 days have passed since symptoms first appear, and at least 24 hours have passed since last fever without the use of fever-reducing medication.
Asymptomatic students with confirmed COVID-19 can return to school after 10 days have passed since the positive laboratory test, and the student remains asymptomatic.
Asymptomatic students who have been exposed to COVID-19 must quarantine for 14-days, a negative test result does not change or decrease the time a student is quarantined.
Students will be required to complete a questionnaire documenting any absence and complete a screening before being allowed to return to school.
