Head of School Search

We are excited to announce Dr. Tom Hays as the new Head of School at Mill Springs Academy. The process was guided by MSA’s founding principle, as articulated by the school’s founder, Tweetie Moore, “If a student can’t learn the way we teach … we should teach the way a student can learn.” With a wealth of experience in clinical psychology and education, the Board is confident that Tom will carry our mission forward to prepare our students with individualized learning plans for success in school and in life.

Tom will officially join Mill Springs Academy on July 1st – learn more about his background below.

We are grateful to our interim Head of School, Cindy Szwec, for her invaluable contributions during this transitional period and wish her all the best in the future.
