MSA's library, staffed by a professional librarian and a cadre of dedicated parent volunteers, contains over 11,000 books, large-print books, audio books, magazines, and video items. The library serves the reading and research needs of students in grades 1-12. The library also has materials to help teachers teach, along with a growing collection of materials of interest to parents. The librarian provides story-time and other reading activities, and teaches K-12 information literacy skills. The Scholastic Reading Counts program, with access to more than 40,000 tests, supports the reading program at all levels. Students have ample access and library circulation is robust.
