Summer Programs at MSA

As the time approaches to begin sign ups, you will find brochures and registration forms here. The following programs are available:

Mark Trail Camp (ages 6-14) - MSA's camp program is designed to enhance self-esteem and develop social skills. We strive to have all campers cultivate a sense of good sportsmanship, sharing and responsibility as they pursue interests and hobbies. For children who will attend Mill Springs Academy in the fall, Mark Trail Camp can serve as an excellent way to introduce your child to our community. This program is open to all students aged 6-14, not just MSA students. The Mark Trail Camp is staffed with the professional individuals who serve our school year students and utilizes Upper School students to assist as part of their volunteer service program.

Summer School (grades 9-12) - The High School Summer Program at MSA serves students in rising 9th through 12th grades, from MSA, as well as the community. We provide a full-day program (8:00am - 4:30pm) which includes both morning and afternoon sessions of academic classes. Our program is designed for each student to receive a maximum of two semesters' credit for work completed in the three-week session. Classes are small, and course syllabus and most materials are provided. The schedule provides the required 60 hours of class time per course to earn semester credit, 0.5 Carnegie Unit per semester course. Our program is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and our credits transfer to all public or private schools.

Sport Camps - a variety of sport specific summer camps are also offered. The offerings vary each year, frequently basketball and soccer are the main choices.
