Our Fine Arts Department offers a wide variety of courses for our talented Mill Springs students. With two full-time art teachers, a full-time Band Director, a full-time Chorus/Music teacher, one full-time and one full-time Theatre/Drama Teacher, and a full-time Technical Director, Mill Springs Fine Arts shines with professionalism and creativity within every performance and event. Our staff shines outside of Mill Springs as well. One of our drama teachers owns a successful area drama company, the other helps teach workshops and camps at the company. Another plays French Horn for the Greenville Symphony. Another staff member creates graphics for area magazines. Throughout the year, students are involved in a multitude of concerts, musicals, plays, exhibits, competitions and behind-the-scenes perspectives. Field trips and live performances are attended. Visits to college level Arts programs and portfolio reviews are encouraged.
